Hobbit Pride Door - $10 of proceeds to The Trevor Project & A Place for Marsha

I came up with this idea when brainstorming what I wanted to make for my shop for Pride 2023. I think the Bagginses would very happily put a Pride flag outside their Hobbit hole, and I can picture Gandalf coming to visit Frodo and Sam, and smiling when he sees the flag. In creating Middle Earth, Tolkien created a whole world with a diverse cast of beings- from Hobbits to Men, Elves to Dwarves, Wizards, Orcs, Goblins, the list goes on. And from out of these beings he created The Fellowship, who despite their differences, band together to fight for what is right and true and good in the world. I think Tolkien would love Pride and what it symbolizes.

The Hobbit Pride Door is made in the same style as my regular Hobbit Door Suncatcher, but with the addition of a small "flag holder" at the base of the door and the glass Pride flag. The handpainted Pride flag can be placed in the holder, or you can display the door with the flag removed. It is painted in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, and fired to an enamel finish.

Available in either copper or silver finish (shown here in silver) and either with or without Gandalf’s burglars mark in silver. Sold individually.
