The Snowdrop Knight

The Snowdrop Knight usually comes to the village during the last snowfall of winter. By this time the snow and coldness have lost much of the magic that their appearance first brought at the beginning of winter, and the villagers have grown somewhat weary of the frozen mornings, biting winds, and darker days. But when the Snowdrop Knight throws open the door of the tavern and greets everyone with their rosy cheeks and wide grin, yelling out for a pint of mulled cider, everyone gives out a loud cheer. The arrival of the Snowdrop Knight means that while Spring may not *quite* be here yet, it will just be another month or two until the snow has melted away and bright flowers start poking their heads from the ground. The Snowdrop Knight will stay until this time, bringing their merry warmth and the promise of new beginnings wherever they go.

The Snowdrop Knight carries a long sword, with a grey wooden hilt filigreed in silver. The sword and garland are handmade from grey, white, green, and clear glass, which has been painted by hand and heated to an enamel finish. As with all the Knights, the sword and garland can be hung separately or together.

The new Knights Collection will be available on Saturday, August 16th at 6pm EST. Each one of a kind stained glass sword is decorated with a garland of the knight’s flora or fruit, and can be removed from the sword to be displayed as a separate hanging.
