Special Edition Yuletide in the Shire Suncatcher

A Hobbit Door Shire Suncatcher for the Yuletide season! This is a limited edition design for December.

Yule was one of the two main holidays in the Shire. The Yule celebrations lasted six days in total, including two days before and two days after the Yuledays. This six-day period was called Yuletide. It was a time of feasting and merriment.

This suncatcher is in the same style as my Hobbit Door Shire Suncatcher, but the central handpainted Hobbit Door has the addition of two snowdrifts above and below the door, made from a wispy white and clear glass. In addition, I have replaced the sunflower rounds at either end with textured clear glass rounds that I have handpainted with drifts of white snow and silver snowflakes, reminiscent of looking out a window on a snowy day.

These suncatchers will be made to order and will ship in 2 weeks. I will be using a variety of clear textured glasses for the roundels with snow, so yours may differ slightly in appearance from the one pictured.
