Gathering Bird no.2

A hanging inspired by the collecting of birds. The bird is made from a wispy white and clear stained glass, detailed in black that has been fired to an enamel finish. It carries a daisy, the seed pod from a poppy, and a bundle from a strawberry plant that includes a ripened berry, a strawberry flower and copper roots. They are all soldered to the back of the bird's beak. A discreet copper loop is attached to the top of the brass ring for hanging.
